Coir Brick for aquarium

Many people do not know these coir bricks, here you have some information and its use in aquariums.

These bricks cost between 2 and 4 euros, depending on the store where you buy.

It is very similar to peat, cut a piece, put it in water and the next day has grown 3 times what it was and is wet and sinks.

I use it as a substrate for Grindal, inexpensive and fast.

I use as spawning sites for annual killies as Nothobranchius and Austrolebias.

Finally, sometimes I put something in some filters to acidify the water.

We can get it in grocery stores agriculture and Grow Shop.
