Do not know if this article will be an article about Aphanius or "Where's Wally?", pictured but not what you may believe on the tip of my finger is a farsicus Aphanius egg.

Well, after an introduction like so many we will what we want.

As each has his methods here are going to write a very simple one.

First condition, the adult must be in good condition for reproduction. We provide them with natural annual cycle, this means warmer months, cold months, plenty of light, a few hours of light, lots of food ... and little food. It is best to have them outside in aquariums in size as large as possible, but we each have to make do with what we have ...

During early spring, with the first peaks of the aphanius heat will get to work and begin to spawn, after about 10-15 days from the first set will be born the first fry, although cold eggs again hold up well, the only thing is that delay hatching.

What we do is catch the eggs with the hand of filamentous green algae in aquariums or no spawning mops. So we leave you with seaweed and floating around in a farrowing mesh where the fry will be born, they have a size of about half centimeter release them with adults.

A very important thing for us is to ensure that each breeding season has copies of the current year and previous years to ensure the genetic variability of the specimens and the long-term survival of the species and population in our aquariums.

Good luck with the Aphanius, are some killifish that are gaining more and more fans in the world killiofilio are grateful colorful species and its maintenance, breeding, behavior and beauty.
