What we need to breed finches

This short article is dedicated to all those you want venturing in captive breeding of birds, whether canaries, exotic, parrots, finches or any other species with pen.

Above is a photo of a spectacular voladera, belonging to the London Zoo, is not going to be normal that we can have this at home, but if there is any privileged would be fantastic to send us your photos, we would be delighted to publish them for all breeders of exotic .

Modern life condemns us to many of us to live in a flat in the city, but this is not the general, many colleagues enjoy a quieter life, or should be in towns and country houses.

I escribiendoos these lines as if thinking aloud, I have a very clear objective of writing, well, not quite, I pursue two basic goals with this information:

1 Help anybody looking mounted an aviary / room / cabin ... breeding to do my best.

Location: This is going to be a key aspect of your hobby, where are you going to have the birds? You will have several options depending on them and will condition the next step, what will we raise? ... but we do not stray, we usually keep the following types of aviary:

In the balcony: You'll be lucky if you can put a battery meter cages, so you know that 5 or 6 champions lovebirds excellent form your aviary, and yes, you can call it that.

In a gallery: Here we will enjoy good, sure we fit in 2-4 breeding batteries, we can work several ranges or species as champions, to raise a lot when the proper time comes.

In an inner room: You can enjoy about 15-30 square meters nuesotrs birds, if we put a self-cleaning breeding batteries will be spent with great birds of one species and another, lonchuras acordaros of which are very nice, we have to raise .!

From here, the bigger ... even better.

Voladeras: If you are lucky to have good site, this is the best, a voladera 2 meters long and 1 meter wide for every young couple and raise what they throw at us, granatinas, ruficaudas, goldfinches parva and more, Lonchura griseicapilla, mandingoas , little blues, herbalists, Luganos ... also if we do mediananmente good, all natural breeding.

What breed: As stated above, depending on the location and type of our facilities and we can decide for a cage or other species, we do not want things we can not breed in cages two feet, let's face it and pass it better, frustrations .

There are many species that can breed in small cages - medium such as canaries, zebra finches, isabelitas of japan, Gouldian, besides its price will not be too much and we can work our line without major investments in economic and rare species that we can not easily obtained.

What else do I need?: This point is tricky, but I will try to make a list of things you're going to have to go shopping or consider using. This is a checklist of items for aviaries.
