Ran out of having to walk your dog muzzled!

For those who have a dog deemed PDD (potentially dangerous dog) there is a test of sociability that if the animal is not required to be muzzled when you walk in the street, for a certifying veterinarian must have done some courses in addition to be enrolled in veterinary school.

This test consists of a workshop next to last approximately two hours in which the owner must answer some questions from the veterinarian plus an internship by the vet and also will perform several tests to measure your animal as jaw opening, level of animal muscle and fat, weight ...

If it is true that in all localities of Spain is not like this law, in Valencia and Ceuta, you can save a fine of up to  750€ if your PDD dog is not muzzled but has passed the test.

This test is conducted every year and costs about 80-100 € the first time, and about 30 € each year, this does not exempt from having to be licensed to PDD, and the dog can walk without a leash and muzzle lower court at 2 meters long, never loose (any breed dog that is always going to be tied up, never loose).

Note that this does not apply to races viewed as PDD (Pit Bull Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Rottweiler, Dogo Argentino, FILA Brasileiro, Tosa Inu and Akita Inu), served only if your animal has been listed as PPP (a German shepherd who has been bitten someone and have denounced it and the animal must be muzzled in)

In any case, I recommend going to your local council and inform (much better written by an official employer) and should be in your area so that you can go without muzzles a PPP call a veterinarian to certify it, and before any fine file regulatory papers.
