Tiger habitat, physical characteristics and power

The tiger is one of the six species belonging to the family of parentinos that both belong to the family felidae . The number of this species is the Bengal tiger , reaching nearly 80% of the total population of these animals. These animals are carnivores as well as being the largest cat species there . Most of these animals live in captivity.

You can only find them in the Asian continent such as India , Bangladesh , Burma , Nepal and Bhutan.

Tigers are solitary and highly territorial animals, they can be found in dense forests or savannas. Males are larger than females , having a large variation in size concerns among different species. The vast majority of tigers have a coat of fawn or orange, with stripes that can have a tone that ranges from brown to black and white intermediate area . Depending on whether they are male or female can vary the number of scratches with females having the least amount addition each copy has totally different stripes , which makes it as a fingerprint .

Tigers feed on all kinds of large ungulates , but if they have hunting opportunity can also be fed to monkeys, fish , hares. Normally seek herbivores , but when they get older or are injured can attack domestic livestock and even humans.
